We love having our two boys at Sammamish
Hills Lutheran Preschool. It is such a
blessing to drop them off in the morning,
knowing that the teachers really care about
each student, and want them to succeed and
learn. In addition to learning in so many
areas, we appreciate that they have the
chance to enjoy music and chapel each week,
and also are able to get outside to play

Prior to choosing Sammamish Hills
Lutheran Preschool, we researched many other
preschools in the area. What drew us to SHLP,
was the learning environment, the
encouragement of kindness and friendship
among the students, the quality of the
teachers and the Christian curriculum. We
were never disappointed and our experience
exceeded our expectations. Our daughter
attended the school for two years, prior to
going into kindergarten. Every day at SHLP,
she was excited and happy to see her
teachers, friends and engage in the daily
activities. Upon entering kindergarten she
was emotionally and academically prepared to
succeed. We credit much of this to her
positive experiences at SHLP. She still
talks about her friends and teachers at SHLP.

The staff at SHLP are so thoughtful and
kind I couldn't think of a better place to
send my sons to school. Each lesson and
class is meaningful: from nature walks
looking for spiders to chapel lessons to art
projects the boys are so proud of makes each
day special. As a former teacher it is
important that my children are in a school
that creates a love for learning, fosters
positive peer relationships and builds
confidence. These experiences helped my
oldest son transition smoothly into
Kindergarten. I now have my youngest son
attending SHLP and I know the same
foundation will be laid for him as well.
When my oldest, Nick, went to visit his 3's
teachers recently the teacher had tears in
her eyes as she gave him a hug. A teacher
like that is truly priceless - we are so
thankful to be a part of SHLP! - Molly
This is the 2nd year my daughter is
attending Sammamish Hills Lutheran
Preschool, and I am so grateful for the
teachers and staff! The loving and nurturing
environment is the perfect place for
children to confidently grow spiritually,
socially, and academically. My daughter
looks forward to going to preschool to learn
about Jesus in chapel, a new song or dance
in music, and share during circle time. I
highly recommend SHLP and will be enrolling
my son there in 3 years! :)
We value all of the time and effort that
the teachers put into each and every day at
preschool and we respect their attention to
challenging age appropriate activities and
lessons. We are also so happy that Sam was
able to learn in a strong Christian
environment. However, what we are most
impressed with at SHLP is the love that we
found there -- from the first day of school
Sam knew that he was loved and he was able
to thrive in the positive environment that
