Clusters F.A.Q. 8 Lifeshapes Resources 3dm Ministries

What's the purpose of a Cluster?

The purpose of each Cluster is to serve Christ as a missional community while living a balanced life. While each group prays together, eats together and serves together, they are defined by their mission (e.g. serving meals to the homeless, visiting the elderly, providing community events for children and families, etc.)

What's the average size of a Cluster?

Clusters vary in size from 15-70 people.

Where do Clusters meet?

Most meet in homes, but they can meet anywhere they choose.

When do they meet?

Most meet monthly. Each Cluster determines the day and time of month that works best for them.

Are all Clusters alike?

No, but all Clusters are committed to a three-dimensional lifestyle (Up/In/Out) and the leaders are "huddled" for support and accountability by one of the pastors.

Are people assigned to a Cluster?

You are free to join any group.

What about kids?

It depends on the group. Some Clusters include kids while others focus on adults.

What happens at a Cluster gathering?

Clusters "do life" together. They have fun. They eat together. They learn and help each other in times of joy and in times of need. They pray and laugh together and focus on a common mission need where they discern God's call.

How do I join?

Take the initiative. Find a group that is right for you and make a call to the Cluster leader. Cluster leaders are ready to help you with any questions you may have.
