...speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every
way into the One who is the head, into Christ, from whom
the whole body, joined and knit together by every
ligament with which it is equipped as each part is
working properly, promotes the body's growth in building
itself up in love. ~Ephesians 4:15-16 (NRSV)
The
many formation ministries of Sammamish Hills foster and
encourage growth in the discipleship life as we are
"formed" in faith by the ongoing activity of the Holy
Spirit in our lives. We believe this process of faith
formation to be lifelong, beginning with the promises of
Baptism and carried on throughout all stages of life.

Our
mission is to provide a fun, Christ-centered half-day
learning program for all preschool age children from
September - May. We offer developmentally appropriate
activities that encourage and challenge children to
learn as they explore God's world around them in a safe
and loving environment.

The
Middle School Ministry goal is to minister to youth in
grades 6-8 by focusing on three main types of
relationships:
-
A
focus on UP relationships - connecting students with
God
-
A
focus on IN relationships - building relationships
with other Christians
-
A
focus on OUT relationships - sharing the message of
God's love with the world
Confirmation is an opportunity for youth in grades 7-9
to make their faith their own. They have a chance to
explore WHO God is to them, while providing
opportunities to put their faith into action through
worship and service. They can connect with a spiritual
community, while building on a foundation of church
history and knowledge of scripture.

We
strive to provide a safe and nurturing place for Middle
School and Confirmation students to ask tough questions
of high school youth, young adults, and other caring
adults, so that they can dive DEEPER in their faith as
they seek out who JESUS is to them.

Sammamish Hills High School Ministry (HSM) works to
bring students and staff to a face-to-face encounter
with our loving God through Jesus Christ and as a result
make Him known to all. We strive to live and love as
Jesus did, spreading the kingdom of God wherever life
takes place. Our vision is to create a vibrant spiritual
community, where high school students are challenged to
dive deep into relationships with God, those in the body
of Christ, and the world around them. Everything we do
is an intentional step aimed at helping students develop
these relationships, equipping them to live as life-long
disciples.
