Important Information:

Community Service:

  • All spring 2012 community service hours must be complete and turned in no later than May 25, 2012 in order to qualify for a parking space for fall. Group project information will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.

  • Please contact Kaitlin (kaitlin@shlc.org  or 425.392.7799 ext. 16) to set up time to complete community service hours.

F.A.Q.:

  • How much does it cost to park at SHLC? There is no fee. We require THREE (3) hours of community service to be performed at the church or at an organized work project put together by SHLC church staff.

  • When will applications be accepted? We are currently accepting applications for Spring 2012 parking. There is a waitlist at this time.

  • When will Spring 2012 parking begin? January 23, 2012

  • I parked at SHLC last semester. Do I have to go through the registration process again? YES! Every student who has parked at SHLC in the past MUST go through the same application process as everyone else each semester.

  • What is the application process? Each student wishing to park at SHLC must fill out an application form and provide a copy of  proof of insurance, a copy of the current registration of vehicles (maximum of 2 vehicles may be registered per student) to be listed on the permit and a copy of the student's drivers license. The student and a parent or guardian must sign the application and return it to the church office. Applications are accepted on a first come first serve basis (active members of SHLC are given priority in parking lot permit assignments).

APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL  AND  COPIES OF REQUESTED DOCUMENTATION MUST BE ATTACHED.  INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. They will be returned to the student for completion and then placed at the end of the line.
